Cub Broun of Part Ol of Sort,
ville and their families held their
Blue and field banquet in llie high
school cafeteria.
The long tables were decorated
in the blue and gold theme in
observance of the 48th birthday Of
the Boy Scouts of America Place
cards were made by the boys of
blue and gold for each member of
their families.
After everyone had found their
places at the tables, the Cub Scouts
Lnd den mothers gathered around
the American flag and gave the
pledge of alligiance K C. Beau-

A very interesting program fol-
lowed the meal, which consieted
of fried chicken, beked beana.

ing of the boys participating In
the March of Dimes drive, Santa
parade in Carthage, and each buy

Mrs. Claude Tompkins and Mrs.
Buck Davidson, spoke briafly on
cub scout work. The new den moth-
ers, Mrs. J. II. Pitts and Mr*. Vivian
Tompkins, wars introduced.
Mr. Crawford introduced the
new assistant cub master, BUI
Bailey, who presented the awards
io the boys and told of each boy's
work in scouting. After tke awards.
