Everything is quiet this Week
asd crops are growing i-icely and
all we need is hot sunshine.
Dr. Daniels was called to see
Mr. Goodlfet who lias been quite
sick this week.
We would all like to know what
kind of a testament the Rev. I
Cranfill had in his grip on the
way to the convention. O, my,
what will become of the preach-
er* who tote pistols to religious
meeting.# The example he sets
generally understood that a good
time is at hand. The singing
was simply splendid, if w<* are to
judge, und was not only enjoyed
by those who participated, but by
the large crowd which sat and
drank in the sweet drains.
These social gatherings are
good things in many respects.
They bring the people together
from different sections and neigh-
borhoods of the county, and the
mixing and mingling process be-
gets good feelings and leaves
them at the close of the day in
better condition socially than
when they met. And then, the
ever present, pestiferous catidi-
'date, maybe he isn't happy! It
| is the one grand opportunity of
his life to shake and present “his
claims” to the dear, good people.
