would be a candidate for sheriff of
Panola County Mr. Hillin makes
his home at 411 A College Street
in Carthage and has been a resi-
dent of Panola County for forty
years.
The candidate has served on the
city police force in Carthage and
attended special police school while
holding this job.
Mr Hillin is married to the far-
mer Frances Ann Moore and they
have one son who attends Carthage
schools.

be a candidate for Sheriff of Pa-
nola t'ounty.
Mr. Gulley lives in the Shady
Grovy Community and is present-
ly employed as a switcher for the
Bethany Gaa Gathering Co..
Tie candidate was born and rear-
ed in Panola County and graduated
from Carthage High School He is
a member of the Masonic Lodge
and belongs to the DeBerry Baptist
Church.
He is married and has throe
children.

ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED—Dr. and Mrs. Robert A.
Witte of Houston announce the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Miss Ann Wise, to Andrew McDaniel, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Theodore McDaniel. Vows will be exchanged July 25
at St. Anns Church In Houston. Miss Wise and Mr. McDaniel
are students at Stephen F. Austin College, Nacogdoches.
