Green Valley #2
LARRY BROWNELLThe second event of the Green Valley High
Speed Series is scheduled for Saturday,
April 26. There will again be a pre-tech
session at Ed Mayo's shop from 6:00PM to
9:00PM the Wednesday prior to this event.
See Mayo Performance ad on page 6 for
directions.
All novice drivers must have their cars
pre-teched (out of region participants
exempt). You will be considered a novice
if you did not run in last years series.
All novice drivers must go through driver
orientation and be signed off by an
instructor. Time Trial Guidelines will be
available at pre-tech and at the track.
There will be a limit of ten novice
drivers at each event.
It will help in my planning efforts if
entrants will pre-register by mailing in
the registration fee. However, you may
also register and pay at the tract. No
more entries will be accepted after the
drivers meeting. Pre-registration is
$45.00, registration at the track is
$50.00.
All drivers must be PCA members 18 years
of age or older and hold a valid Drivers
License. There will be a limit of 60
drivers per event.
Please take note of the following safety
requirements as they will be strictly
adhered to:
* Drivers must wear full length shirt and
pants (cotton or wool) and closed tied
shoes.* Cars must be equipped with Safety Belts
for both driver and passenger (for
instructors).
* Helmets must be 1970 or later Snell
approved and should have the following
information on the back: name and medical
allergies.
* Open cars must have face shields on
driver helmet.
* Sun Roofs must be closed and roof panels
in place on semi-open cars.
* Open cars must have roll bars.
* Fire extinguishers are recommended.
If you have any questions, please call
Larry Brownell 214/495-7828.
