Acreage Survey
Cards Sent Out
Postmaster Pete Johnson an-
nounced today that Rural Mail
Carriers began distributing 1964
Acreage Survey Cards to patrons
on their routes about Sept. .12.
The Post Office Department
assists U. S. D. A. in making this
survey each year. These reports,
directly from farmers, are the
basis for official estimates for
Texas acreage of all crops har-
vested in 1964.
To be sure this community is
well represented in the survey.
Postmaster Johnson urges each
patron receiving a card to fill it
out and retufn it to his mailbox.
Rural mail carriers working on
this project are: Fred Rodgers,
Route 1; H. E. Bryson, Route 2.
