from his records, concerning 1927
During the year 1927, 106 days
were cloudy; 97 days part cloudy;
166 days were fair; 16 days
were foggy.
The wind blew 181 days from
south; 64 days from the north;
9 days from the west; 9 days
from the east; 9 days from the
northeast; 3 days from the Bouth
east, 48 days from the southwest
6 days from the northwest; high
winds occur 18 days; quiet days
62; wind changable 36 days.
Rain fell on 36 days. January
12, 19, 24; February 8, 28; March
7, 17, 28, 30; April 7, 20; May
12, 24; June 7, 22, 80; July 1,
8, 18, 14,28,26,27; Aug. 12,20,
26; September 8, 4, 16; October
1,.8; November, none; December
18, 27. The greatest precipitation
occurred May 12 and October 1,
about 4 inches each date.

hand comer is Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Warren, who live in De Leon. War-
ren, bom Aug. 10, 1884, is 81... Mrs.
Warren is 83, havmgbeen born Aug
3, 1846. They were meferied in Pon-
totoc County, Miss., JklL 2, 1868.
They had four sons ana four dau-
ghters, only three oflwhom are liv-
ing. They came to Texas in 1878,
and to De Leon in 1888. Both Mr.
and Mrs. Warren can read without.,
glasses. Mrs. Warren threads her!
needle and sews without spectacles.
At the solicitation of a number of
the voters of our Precinct I am

for the office of Commissioner of
Precinct No. 8.
For the information of those who
may not know me, I was bom in
the neighborhood where I now re-
side ana have the interests of our
Precinct and county at heart as
much as anyone could have.
If elected I shall devote the best
of my ability and energy to giving
the county a business administration
and to the bringing of our roads to
the best possible condition with the
