M. Y. Stokes, Jr., left here
Sunday for Austin where he will
report for service in the avia-
tion corps. He will spend about
six weeks in Austin studying
the ground work and then be
sent to one of the aviation sta-
tions where he will learn
how to fly the machines, and af-
ter mastering that art he will
probably be sent to some place
at the front.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Muckleroy
have returned to their, home at
Eddy after spending some time
here in camp at Hancock park.
