Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Ratliff and j good many years. She came
family left Thursday morning for back about four months ago to be
their home in Fort Worth.
Mrs.
Ratliff, better known hers as Mrs.
Tennie Hamilton, lived here a
with her son, Louis Hamilton,
who was an invalid and who died
recently.

Forrest Yett, of Lometa, spent

Mrs. W. E. McLean. They are
moving to Crystal City where
they expect to make their home.

classes of School creek church
gave a surprise party to Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Smith at their new
home, Tuesday evening, Dec. 12.
Games were played, and refresh-
ments served by the party.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith were the
recipients of a nice center table
presented by the Baracas and a
linen table set by the Philatheas.

The junior division of the mis-
sionary society of the Methodist
church will meet Friday after-
noon at 3:30 o’clock with Mrs.
M. Y. Stokes. Let every child
