Cheryl and I wish to thank all of
the churches, school and people of
the community of Detroit and the sur-
rounding area. You all supported us
for five and one-half years when we
pastored the United Methodist
Churches in Detroit and Woodland
and now, in our pain, since our son
Brandon disappeared over two weeks
ago. Thanks for all your prayers and
financial support for the reward fund
that was set up for the return of Bran-
don. It is only through God’s grace
that we are able to keep going dur-
ing this difficult time in our lives. You
all are God’s grace to us. We love
you.

Dioocl usage is

With the recent tragedies in east
Texas, blmxi usage is on a steady rise
in many areas hospitals. Many un-

concern is shifting to whether blood
will be available if blood usage con-

Another factor that seems to be
hampering the blood supply has been
the weather. Ongoing rain and in-

blood drives to be cancelled. Donors
have also come out in limited num-

Today is your birthday
You would be seventeen
Today is sad and filled
with much pain.
Six months ago,
God called you home
And in an instant
You were gone.
The sun will never
be as bright
or the sky as blue
For there is a cloud
of sadness
in our lives, without you.
Though we can’t see or
touch you
We know you are near
And we thank God for the
precious memories
we hold so dear
Your love lives on forever
it will never fade
For in our hearts
You are always with us,
each and every day.
Happy Birthday
our Dearest Rebecca!
We love you and miss you.

individual’s health information can
be collected and transmitted to dif-
ferent entities without the
individual's consent or authorization.

day were Betty and Ray Smith of
Detroit, Melissa and Gilbert Arriaga

Church Sunday. His wife and two
daughters attended the services also.

Detroit Monday night.
The bill prohibits health care provid-
ers, government entities, internet

medical records from disclosing, us-
ing or selling personal health infor-
mation for marketing purposes.
