The Northeast Texas Invitational
Track Meet results for April 5 are: in
the boys division, Bogata came in
first with 228 points;* Avery, second
place with 120 points; Talco, third
with 66 points; Chapel,Hill fourth with
63 points; Harts Bluff fifth with 27
points and Windfield sixth with 16
points.
In the girls division, Chapel Hill
placed first with 128 points;
Prairiland second with 88 points;
Bogata third with 87 points; Talco
fourth with 84 points; Avery fifth with
67 points, Harts Bluff sixth with 52
points and Winfield seventh with 50
points.
April 12, the Bogata and Talco
Junior High students participated in
the 19AA District Track Meet at
Gilmer. The results in the boys divi-
sion are; high jump, Clint Tidwell,
first with 5’3” and Jason Lankford
sixth with 4TO”; discus, Jessie Wood,
sixth; 400 meter relay, Monteleto
Waller, Clint Tidwell, Jason Lankford
and Jeff Bagley placed third with a
time of 51.2; 800 meter run, Todd Duf-
fer, second; Ronald Simmons, fifth
and Jamie Wright, sixth; 110 meter
hurdles, Donald Combs, fourth; Paul
Stringer, sixth; 100 meter dash,
Monteleto Waller, sixth; 300 meter
