Visiting with Nina Ward Hudson
and attending the funeral of Mary
Hudson were Sid Hudson, of Mes-
quite and David Lee Hudson, of
Lewisville.
Sunday visitors in the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Screws and Tana
were Mr. and Mrs. Murl Roach, of
Deport. Overnight guests on Friday
were Bren, Kara, and Hali Screws, of
Deport. Tuesday lunch guests were
Chris Anna Screws, Yolanda and
Jerred, of Paris. Donald Judy and
Tana had dinner with Chris last Tues-
day.
Vacationing in Nevada over the
week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Gerry
Screws, Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Screws,
Kelly Davis, and Sandy Moreno.
The Revival at First BaptistChurc^J
ended on a happy note with chil-
dren's night, including a Pizza Party
for the kids.
Mrs. Dora Flenniken's entire fam-
ily had a get together Saturday night
at the Fish Fry in Paris. All of Mrs.
five children, Billy Flcnnikcn, of
BOYS' TRACK TEAM- River-
crest High School Boys track
team members are: Juan Tor-
res, Reic Waller, Clay Pirtle,
Brad Walker, Jack Brown,

Houston, Boyce and Chester Flenni-
ken, of Paris, Elizabeth Lakin, of
Sherriville, Indianna, and Phebc Al-
len, of Deport, and their families were
present. Also attending was Jack
Lucas and family of New Braunfels.
Jack is the son of Mrs. Flenniken's
Son, Charles, who is diseased.The
annual fish fry was begun 30 years
ago when Mr. Earl Flennikcn was
still living. He and their son, Biljj^,
would get togethere and fry fish fH*
the whole family, but in recent years
(he family has brought their celebra-
tion inside to he mor e comfortable.
Sheila Keith also visited Mrs. Flenni-
ken and atlended the fish fry. After
the celebration at the restaurant, ev-
eryone retired to Boyce and Lva Nell's
home in Paris to catch up on their
visiting. Elizabeth came in last week
end and attended the Bogata Home-
coming. She stayed the whole week
with her mother and returned home
Sunday. Billy is staying for an ex-
tended visit.

Upchurch, the son of the late
Kristy Ann Upchurch and Mike
Upchurch was the 9-1 I year old
steer riding champion in
Buckeye's Moonlight Jubilee
held at Rosalie April 16.
