tist church was the scene of a very
enjoyable reception last night
given by the Baptist ^ oung Peo-
ple's Union in honor of Miss Dal
ton Cantrell of Waxah&chie Miss
Cantrell gave sketches at the
church last Sunday.
The reception was held on the
lawn where the cool breezes ol the
evening could be enjoyed. I he
guests were favored with a vocal
solo by Mrs. Bishop, a violin solo
by Austin Carlton, and a number
sketches by Miss ' antrell. The
evening was a very pleasant one
and the entertainment furnished
was the best of talent and was
heartily enjoyed by those present.
Refreshments of frappe and water-
melon were served to the guests.
