died Friday night in Ircnison after
an illness of only alrout one hour,
heart failure being the cause of her
demise. The hurrial occurred at
Denison Saturday afternoon at i
o’clock.
Mrs. Stevens was a resident of
Boulutin for eighteen years Indore
her removal to Denison arid had
lived there for the past ten years,
She was a consistent member of
the Methodist church and much
beloved by all who knew her. She
was the mother of eight children,
who, with her husband are left to
mourn her loss The children are:
Mrs. John Owens of Bonham, Mrs.
■I. M. Gibson of Paris, .Inn, lOrtie,
Ol, Walter, Ernest and Ham, all of
Denison.

on Boisd’Arc bridge Saturday
night about 8:‘K> o’clock, two raa

one was hurt.
The car of D. Purdy, who live's
near Kdhube, was coming toward
town, and was being driven by a
young lady. The other car was
the property of Mr. Denison, who
lives near Annona. Mr. Denison 1

have to he called a ball game, for
there is no other term to use, but
it bore no resemblance to any ex
