Northside Sunday Eve
John Wolfe ACC graduate do-
ing mission work in El Paso is
now making a tour of Texas and
will bo in Abilene Sunday. Wolfo
will speak at the Northside church
of Christ Sunday evening.

Last Tuesday night tho fresh
men showed ip very impressively
agninst tho juniors. The ramrod of
Hie fish attack was Joseph Shcl-
ton of Athens. Two other fresh-
men Phillips and McLcod despito
their jaunt early In the afternoon
to the mountains showed up quite
well.
The intrn-murnl games to
date lino been crammed full
of humor. Chief laugh pro-
voker has been W. T. "Trick
Shot" James who is a veritable
whirling dervish of activity.
Memphis Eudaly it ho wasn't
even nlilo to hit the backboard;
John Richie who tried his box-
ing tactics; Ben Bailey who
couldn't find Biz Bill Kirk
whom ho was supposed to
guard; Scwcll Cox who had
never played before all camo
in for their share of tho fun.
Tho Btato basketball tournament
last week end wns ono of tho best
in the history of the league. With
the exception of Dnlhnrt no team
wns defeated In nnj game by moro
than two points Abilene finalists
last jear were eliminated by Sid-
ney Lanier of San Antonio.

the Braves of McMurry Invad-
ing Morris Stadium for a track
and field meet with the Wild-
cats. The meet between the
two squads should see the Cats
emerge victorious by a top
heavy score. The Indians are
strong in only two events
