Are you looking for a summer
Job in the Abilene area? You
should not have trouble finding
one according to Clint Howeth
director of admissions and"
placement.
; Howeth said ACC students
'have not had any trouble finding
part-time Jobs the past couple of
months. He said that since
September more Jobs have been
listed outside his office than ever
before.
Are you wondering where to
apply for a job? Howeth
mentioned that one should
check with the city government
the stale highway department
the downtown merchants
construction firms or any of the
district's Industries. H said that
if you are working part-tfone
somewhere now and want to
work there full-time this
summer b sure to tell your
employer soon. .Jf
He said that mm 'should not
overlook the possibility of
forming a crew to elthernmow
lawns or Jwlnt houses.
Howeth said It is not too early
to begin the search for that
summer Job now but advised not
to wait any later than the first
week of May.
Although not trying to thwart
individual initiative Howeth
encourages students to come by
the Placement Office on the
second floor of the Administra-
tion Building.
