Construction of the dam for
Prady Lake is still running ahead
o' schedule.
The dam now is 71 percent com-

Officially, the dam is scheduled
for completion next April 2ft, "hut

Freese, Nichols, and Kndress of
Fort Worth, the City engineers

the lake rises above its permanent
level. The intake tower will pro-

water fri m the lake to the filler
plant and eventually for city con-
sumption.

the proposed new courthouse. It
includes a central slab-like building
four stories high, with one-story
wings running parallel east and
west.
Those county offices which deal
most with the public (county
clerk, tax collector, etc.) would be
located in the first-floor wings.
The central building, housing the
district courtroom and the jail on
the top floor, is designed without
windows, to reduce noise, dust,
and rut air-conditioning costs.
The jail, however, wou’d
