Will H. Evans, of Ronhatn, came over
with his trio of young ladies, Miss
Bernice Carleton, violin soloist, Miss
Mary Alice Pritchett, vocal soloist,
and Miss Mac Carleton, accompa-
riest, and gave us some excellent
music.
To say that our versatile and ever-
ready friend and brother, Will H.
Evans caught and held his audience
for an hour on "Little Things” is put-
ting it tamely. His purpose, he said,
v.as to make us think—and he did it.
He possesses a fine vein of humor and
can tell a story well, lie "brought
down the house” with his Rastus' pos-
sum hunt.
Mr. Evuns’ cordial invitation to all
the Methodists to visit the North
Texas conference, which is soon to
convene in Bonham, would huve im-
pressed any one that he was a full-
fledged Methodist.
Everybody here feels like saying
with emphasis, “Mr. Evans and young
ladies, come again, and come often.
Oar good friends, Jno. Biggs and wife,
will kill a turkey every time you
come!’’ *
