NEW FIRM.
W. Lewis Shoe Co. is the new
name of a business concern tliut has
been operating in this city for the past
twenty years. J. W. Lewis has sold
an interest in his business to L. K.
Massey und Jas. I!. Carmichael, two
young men thoroughly identified with
not only that firm, but the shoe busi
ness in general. Mr. Massey has been
connected with this store for the past
thirteen years and for the last eleven
years Mr. Carmichael lias been a fa-
miliar figure with the firm’s trade.
This is a shoe concern that enjoys
an excellent patronage, having thru
its sound and courteous business me-
thods built up a trade that extends
in many instances beyond the borders
of this county. Mr. Lewis has long
since built a reputation for his popu-
lar shoe firm and the trade is quick
to recognize the quality of goods car-
ried therein.
While* the firm name has been
changed, yet the business will he con-
ducted along the same policies in the
future as in the past, and the gentle-
men who have recently purchased an
interest in the business will join their
efforts with Mr. Lewis in expanding

Both Messrs. Massey and Cunuich-

section of the state. They are both
Bonham men and their acquaintance,
both with the people and the shoe j
business, make them valuable assets i
to the store.
Quite recently many improve-
