Jessie Galvan junior account-
ing major from Abilene has
been singing all of his life.
"I love to sing" he said.
He saw his first Sing Song as a
freshmen and knew he wanted to
be a host.
"I saw that stage and I saw
those hosts up there and decided
! want to do that"' he said.
According to Jessie the desire
to host the show really material-
ized during his preparation for
host auditions.
"I selected the music and after
I made the cts I chorographed
one of the numbers" he said. "It
took a while but I wanted 'to
impress the judges."
At the auditions Jessie said he
told himself to give it his best.
"I just thought: 'Go in there
and show them what you have to
offer; be confident in what you
do'" he said.
Some of that confidence spills
over into the rest of the hosts and
hostesses according to Jessie
He said each year the hosts
and hostesses share a special
bond but this year's group "has
grown especially close."
