1955-56 school year were elected
\t the Tuesday evening meeting
of the Parent-Faculty Club of
the Kieberger School
Mrs. W. E. Way was elected
to head the organization as pres-
ident. Serving with her will be
H. D. Belvin, first vice president;
Mrs. Boyd Middleton, second vice
president; Mrs. B. G. Wylie, third
vice president; Mrs. Don Price,
fourth, vice president; Mrs. Wil-
liam Moore, recording secretary;
Mrs. L'. H. Collins, treasurer; Mrs.
C. R., Higginbotham, correspond-
ing secretary; Mrs. L. E. Ray,
historian; and Mrs. Abe Bedre,
parliamentarian.
Program for the evening, cen-
tered around the Easter theme,

numbers and recitations by the
first grade students of Mias Stel-

for children twelve years of age
and under.
Tickets for the hunt, to begin at
10 a. m., at the Lone Jstar Park
Building, may be purchased from

Club Wednesday, March 30, at.
the Homemaking Cottage, spec-
ial instruction was given on the
construction of clothing.
A report on the bake sale
showed the girls netted a good
profit, and the dub wishes'to

MINNICK-MASSI ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED—Announce-
ment was made this week of the engagement and approaching
marriage of Miss Janice Lee Minnick of Wichita, Kansas, and
Joe Massi, Jr., of this city. She is the daughter of Mr .and Mrs.
Homer Hall Minnick, 414 Harding, Wichita, Kansas, and he is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Massi, Sr., of Aransas Pass. The
wedding is being planned for June 26 at the Hillside Christian
Church in Wichita. Miss Minnick and Mr. Massi are both senior
students at Texas Christian University and will receive their
B. A. degrees in May.

on the prophecy of the Easter
event, and on the crucifixion and
resurrection.
The public service will be un-
der the leadership of tHe Rev.
G. Taft Lyon, Jr., minister of the
Presbyterian Church. The Rev.
Ronald Griffin, of the Baptist
Church, and the Rev. G. D. Jones,
of the Assembly of God Church,
will also take part in the service.
Rev. Lyon said Sunday’s sun-
rise beach service will be the
first such Easter service to be
held on the beach and expressed
the hope that it will become an
annual affair. He pointed ouSthat
with the great tourist popula-
tion at Port Aransas, the service
will be attended by people from
throughout Texas and the na-
tion.
