On Friday, March 11. the An-
nona Chapter of the Future Home-
makers of America was host to
60 guests visiting the school dur-
ing Pubhr Schools Week. The
guests were, served punch and
cookies by the second and third
year girls. The guests went
through- the homemaking cottage
and saw some of the work the
girls had done this year. There
were aprons and dresses
made by the first year

home in Croabyton. Mrs. Free-
man will complete her work in
Crosbyton High School

Mrs. Lindsey McAllister gave
an article on Health Education in
rural Cuba, showing how garden-
ening, home nursing, child care,
etc are being taught to the Cu-
bans Typhiod, tetanus, diptheria
and whooping cough shots are
geing given. ,
Estelle Smith told of the Robin-
son school in Puerto Rico, a pro-
testant school that is dyerfTowing
with students who r,.ed more in-
struction in this Christian and
loving atmosphere.
Mrs. Gavin Watson Sr gave an
article on the Sager-Brown Home
and Godman school in Louisiana,
~nly negro home and church school

Mrs V B Ferguson gave an
article catted "Thirty-three years,"
in account of a Methodist mis-
sionary.
The meeting was closed with
the Lord's Prayer in unison.

of First Baptist Church met March
1 with Mrs Ira Siurcii as hos-
teaa. The meeting opened with-
song. ’Near the Cross." Mrs. Carl
Roberta Sr. brought the devotion-
al from the 10th Chapter of Mat-
thew. The circle members then
repeated the Lorg's Prayer in

Circle of C. of W S C.S. of the
Methodist church, met Tuesday at
7 p.m. March 15 with Mrs. Char-
lie Smith as hostess. The meeting
was opened with the Lord’s Pray-
er in unison. Business was con-
ducted by the chairman, Mrs.
J. B Cunningham. The minqtes
were read ami approved. Reports
were given on the sick list and
cards sent to the shut-ins and sick
members.
Mrs Cunningham reminded the
members of the revival beginning
March 27. and It was voted to
have the morning services at 10

the program on the topic, "Annual
meeting of women's division In
Cincinnati!, Ohio." The program

A demonstration was given by
Mrs. Alice Giddens on covering
coat hangers. Mrs. Splawn Coop-
er gave a talk on "Home health
and safety ” Fifty cents was col-
lected in the nickel contest. Mrs.
Hudson wen the prize.
