ed the position at State Commission-
er of Warehouses and Marketing, uc

formerly secretary of the associa-
tion. has been named to succeed Mr.
Lyday as general manager and will
take up his new duties Dee. 1, when
Mr. Lyday will go to Austin to as-
sume his office.
Mr. Lyday becomes a director of
the Texas Farm Bureau Federation of
which the Texas Division of the Am-
erican Cotton Association is the cot
ton division, decided upon last week.
Mr. Lyday is also president of the
Texas Fanners’ Union, lie was in
Austin Friday to confer with Sena-
tor F. C. We inert, who resigned as
Commissioner of Warehouses and
Marketing.
