One of the most coveted honors that Hardin-Simmons
University can bestow upon a senior coed was given
to Phyllis Jeffries the '59-'60 Queen who will reign over
all the Homecoming activities this week-end.
The Brand staff wants to say "Congratulations" Her
Majesty. We hope you have a most successful and en-
joyable reign."
To the princesses we will say thank you for "so
gracefully complimenting Her Majesty's Court."
To all the girls who were chosen to represent H-SU'ers
in the contest i'A Thank You."

New Stadium Directions
Mapped Out For Alumni
The homecoming football game
between the Hardin-Simmons
Cowboys and the Texas Western
Miners will be played in the new
Abilene High School Stadium.
Alumni director Truett Latimer
said "Since the game will be
played in the new stadium it is
very possible that there will be a
lot of the ex-students who are
not familiar with the location of
the stadium. For their benefit
we have mapped out a direct
route from the H-SU campus to
the fair grounds where the
stadium is located."
Leave the H-SU campus and
go east on Ambler Avenue to
Farm to Market Road No. 1234
which is just east of the ACC
campus. Turn right and go to
Highway 80. Go east on 80 and
turn just before coming to the
overpass. The road will lead
directly to the fair grounds.
