TO CHURCH SERVICES
A federal judge placed a Cin-
cinnati man on probation on the
condition that he go to church
every Sunday and not miss a
day’s work for the next three
years.
If Ronald H. Smith fails to
meet the probation terms, Judge
Timothy Hogan said he will sen-
tence him to prison on forgery
charges.
NO JOKE FOR JUDGE
“It was just a joke,” said
Charles Kahne, 18, after he shot
a rubber band at a judge in
court in Cincinnati. The judge
didn’t laugh. He sentenced Kahne
to spend two days in jail.
