SAVOY'S WONDER
You have often heard of brass
bands, but Savoy has the world
skinned on anything like that.
We have a boy who fools a great
many people. Of course people
here know him and don’t think
anything strange about him. He
ha^no horn whatever, but some
way or another he can imitate a
band to perfection. Gentlemen,
you ought to come to Savoy and
make it your home: All kinds of
amusements going on all the time.
The people will come as near doing
you right as any little town in
Texas. Study over this matter
and see fqr yourself.
Bose Towers has returned from
a trip to Collin county and reports
crops in a good condition.
W. P. Carter has bought the
Willoughby property in the South
part of town and will move to it
about the first of next month.*
Yours truly

These Shoes are as !ar superior to the old
fashioned boiler-plate work shoes as the
electric light is to the tallow-dip.
The uppers are extra-plump weight Chrome
Calf; thoroughly tanned with oak bark whichmakes
them as soft and easy as kid. The soles are solid
leather, Goodyear ^elt and will “wear likfe wire.”
For all working purposes this shoe is a leader
and is in line with modern ideas of 20th Century
