It 's never too hot to be,'.cool at
Aransas Pass.
It seems like each night is more
pleasant than the one preceding.
It’s great to live in^a climate
like this.
It has been suggested by sever-
al of our leading business men
that an effort be made to procure
a street sprinkler. We hope • the
Business Mens Club or Civic
League will take tl1|s matter un-

There are reasons—always. In the case of Aransas
Pass, because it is where the only deep-water harbor be-
tween Galveston and Tampico ,Mexico, exists. This harbor
is needed to handle the commerce of a vast territory now
badly handicapped by having to go a long way around. The
Government' has spent millions developing the harbor and
its success is absolutely assured.
A limited amount of property is for sale in and surround-
ing the city and^ those who buy now, while the little city is
in its infancy, are the ones who will reap the large profits
Let us have your address if you have a few hundred dol-
lars you wish to invest in something absolutely safe and
sure to return a splendid margin of nrofit.. We will be
glad to show you what we have, with rnaps, prices, etc. *

the ladies of the Civic League,
and no special date will be set

of, ladies has been appointed who
will visit all the residences and

importance of cleaning up their

The Aransas Pass Progress has
lost its blower and is mourning
over the loss, going so far as to
offer to ask no questions of the
party who took it if it will be re-
turned. For the benefit of the
readers not familiar until the
equipment of a printing office, it
is stated that a blower is a small
bellows used to blov*the dust out
of type cases, and it is extrem-
ly useful. Just why any individ-
ual outside of a printing office
should wish to swipe a blower, is
hard to understand, unless it was
some fellow who wants to raise
the w'ind, a man who starts a fire
from a half dead coal or a circus^
spiler who wants to substitute it
for a worn out lung—San Anton-
