Game Twelve Innings
To a Tie
The last game between Bonham
and McKinney went twelve in-
nings to a tie, 5 and 5. It is a
rather funny coincidence that when
McKinney was here they took two
games and played one tie game,
and that Bonham should go to that
place and repeat the same trick—
win two games and tie one. Gra-
ham pitched for our boys Satur-
day and as usual pitched a good
game. An error at a critical mo-
ment prevented Bonham from
making a clean sweep of the series.
A high fly was knocked and lost
in the run, allowing the run that
tied the score.
I McKinney opens here today for
a series of three games, followed
by Kaufman for a like number.
Hancock will pitch the opening
game, Rayburn the second and
Graham the third. The boys are
' playing a good game now and they
are figuring on taking at least two
out of thr^e of both series.

for a week of pleasure. Swimming,

As a fitting climax to the week of

as follows:
'Tonight in this hall at half past nine,
You are Invited to a dance for a jolly
good time.
The fair young Janes who are in the
crowd
Are ttie ones who are doing this stunt
so proud.
The ladies will meet the gents at the
door
And escort them upon the ball room
floor.
Be sure and be ready when your Jane
arrives,
And then light in for the time of your

The hall was transformed into a
woodland scene, trailing vines be-

picturesque setting for the dancers.
The grand marcli was led by Miss
Gladys Grammer of Fort Worth

very artistically carried out. Cool- j

from a woodland bower, and im-
promptu toasts were proposed to

hour with many expressions of
pleasure and -gratitude to the orig-
