Graveside Rites
Held For Infant
Graveside rites for the infant
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don
Bruton of Grand Prairie were
held Monday at 2 p.m. at the
Oak lawn Cemetery, conducted
by the Rev. Julian Thomas,
pastor of Cooper Methodist
Church. Delta Funeral Home
made interment.
The child was born last Sat-
urday in Grand Prairie. The
baby's mother is the grand-
daughter of Mrs. George Skin-
ner of Dallas, formerly of
Cooper, and a niece of D. T.
Skinner of Rt. 1 Cooper, and
great-niece of V. M. Skinner

Death Message
Mrs. Opal Shumate received
a telephone message Monday
night from her cousin, Claud
Wilcher, Woodbury, Tenn., con-
cerning the death of their aunt,
Mrs. John Sullins of Woodbury.
Mrs. Sullins was a sister of
Mrs. J. D. Higgins, and an aunt
of Mrs. Jack Stevenson, both of
Cooper.

Lions To Meet Friday
At Country Club
The Cooper Lions Club will
meet for their regular luncheon
meeting Friday noon at the
Delta Country Club.
According to Program Chair-
man O. L. Bridges, Master-Ser-
geant Zeis of Greenville, will
show film of army missle de-
velopment.

ing Pecan Gap and Ladonia, has
a new football coach He is Don
Woodall, and was hired for the
1962-63 season at a meeting of
the school board Tuesday night,
according to Superintendent F.
C. Burnet of the school. He will
replace Don McGee, who re-
signed.
Woodall has had six years
teaching experience, and for the
past three years has coached all
sports at the Humphrey Junior
High School in Dallas. Last year
his seventh, eight and ninth
grade football team won the
district championship.
Woodall lettered for two
years at Tyler Junior College
under Floyd Wagstaff. He will
receive his masters degree at
East Texas State College this
summer. He has a wife and two
children and will move his fam-
ily to the Fannindel Community
the coming fall.
Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Richard-
son of Houston spent last Sat-
urday night in Cooper with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M.
Bowman. They were enroute to
their home after having been in
Paris to see his mother, who
was recently injured in a fall.

notifed by the Texas Association
of Sanitarians that he is a Cert-
ified Sanitarian because of his
qualifications, knowledge and
experience. Three grades are
given to sanitarians and McKib-
ben received the highest one
