and execution issued out of the
District Court of Delta County,
Texas, on a judgment rendered
in said court on the 7th day of
April, 1952, in favor of Lyndol
E Hart and Wren H. Hart and
against H. W McCurtis and
Henry Lois McCurtis, a minor,
in the case of Lyndol E. Hart
and Wren H Hart, plaintiffs,
versus H. W. McCurtis and Henry
Lois McCurtis, a minor, defend-
ants, No. 4804 in said court, I
did on the 1st day of May, 1952,
at 4:00 o’clock pm., levy upon
the following tracts and parcels
of land as the property of the
said H. W McCurtis and Henry
Lois McCurtis, a minor, to-wit:
All that certain lot, tract or
parcel of land situated in Delta
County, Texas, a part of the J.
H. Anderson Survey, and being
a part of Block No. 12 of the E.
M. Morris Addition to the Town
of Cooper, Texas, more particu-
larly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at the N. W.
corner of said Block No. 12;
THENCE South 105 feet a
stake;
THENCE East 216 feel to the
E. B. line of said Block No. 12;
THENCE North 52'^ feet to the
N. B. line of said Block No. 12;
THENCE West 108 feet to the
place of beginning; and on the
3rd day of June, 1952, being the
first Tuesday of said month, be-
tween the hours of 10:00 oclock
a.m. and 4:00 o’clock p.m. on
said day, at the courthouse door
of said county, I will offer for

for cash, all the right, title and
interest of the said H. W| Mc-

NET Odd Fellows
To Hold Roundup
The Northeast Texas Associa-
tion of Odd Fellows will hold a
roundup in IOOF hall in Cooper
next Thursday, May 22, it is an-
nounced by J. D. McGaha, noble!
grand, and Vernon Barton, dis-
trict supervisor.
More than 100 Odd Fellows
from Sulphur Springs, Green-
ville, Farmersville, Bailey, Paris,
Bonham, Clasksville and Cooper
are expected to attend the meet-
ing, and it is probable that sev-
eral Grand Lodge officers will be
present.
Mr. and .Mrs. Will Slough spent
the past weekend at Abilene vis-
iting their son-in-law and daugh-
ter, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hicks. The
family was joined by Chester
Slough of Odessa, another son of
the Will Sloughs. Enroute home
Mr. and Mrs. Slough stopped at
Weatherford for a visit with Mr.
and Mrs. Lyndol E. Hart and Mr.
and Mrs. Wren H. Hart, former
Cooper residents.
W. B. Knight, price specialist

Cooper Thursday, May 22, to as-
sist Delta county businessmen on

chain link fence at Cooper, Delta

gineer of the Texas Highway De-
partment at Paris, Texas, until
2:00 p.m., June 2, 1952, and then
publicly opened and read.
The minimum wage rate on this
project shall conform to Group
II as set out in Texas Highway
Commission No. 31333 dated No-
vember 20, 1951.
