WPA Project.
Application for funds with
which to improve Cooper City
Lake and water system has re-
ceived final approval at Washing-
ton, according to telegrams re-
ceived by Mayor Rountree from
Congressman Patman and Senator
Tom Connally.
Funds granted for the WPA
project are $44,973, The city of
Cooper voted funds for this im-
provement two years ago but has
been delayed in getting federal
approval of the project, due to
rapidly advancing costs which
have necessitated refiguring costs
several times.

Chandler, Cooper; one half-broth-
er, eleven grandchildren, and j
three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held
Wednesday at 3 p. m. at the Bap- j
tist Church, conducted by Rev. j
Rufus Bennington, assisted by
Rev. Paul Lamb of Lake Creek,
and Rev. R. E. Streetman of |
Mineola. Burial was made in Oak i
Lawn by Smith Funeral Home.
