The Gentile nations of the present
are held under the same resposibillty
as the Jews were in that day. The
great underlying cause of the World
War is that the European nations In
a large measure lost the idea of God.
This was especially true of Germany.
Nations cannot neglect God and at the
same time escape disaster. It has al-
ii ways been true whether it be Jews
Gentiles.

Mrs. McKinney Cemetery Working

Workers Class
FOR SALE or Trade, my home on
East Second street. Well improved -
C. J. Kinard. rct*
Mrs. J H. McKinney was hostess to
the Loyal Womens Class May 22. The
house was beautifully decorated with
ferns, nasturtiums, srweet peas, lakspur
and colendukes.
After a brief business period con-
ducted by the president, Mrs. Ludd
Moss, we were given a chance to see
if we could recall quite a number of
the sweethearts of the Bible. We then
entered into an object contest which
was very amusing. Then each sang
in concert a solo. The songs were old
familiar hymns.
As it was our last meeting before
Bio. and Mrs. Nicholas leave us we
presened Mrs. Nicholas with a secure-
ly and well wrapped package. After
much time was spent in unwrapping
the package it was found to contain a
large stick of red candy. Bro. Nicho-
las was not forgotten for he also re-
ceived a box of very tiny stationery
as a reminder that wc all should be
remembered.
the nosteas uervtxi ^vely salad
course, assisted by Mrs. John Ander-
son and Mrs. Chas. Pratt.
We were each told to find the end
of a string and follow until we found
our fortunes revealed. At the end of
Bro. and Mrs. Nicholas’ strings was a
table which contained gifts from the
members of the class.
After viewing the gifts we bid our
hostess goodbye. Each expressed them-
selves as having had a delightful time.
We regret very much that this was
Bro. and Mrs. Nichlas last meeting
with us, but our love and best wishes
go with them.
