Paid for Farm
With Currency Tak-
en From Feather Bed
C. P. Masters, who is agent for
the Underwood land, was in Cooper
Friday night on business. He has
3100 acres of this land in Delta
County and 5600 acres in Fannin
County for sale. He said he had
sold four farms and has two more
deals he is closing.
He related an instance of selling
one farm for more than five thous-
and dollars to a widow and she drew
the money in currency out of a
feather bed and paid him the cash
for the farm. He said the lady ex-
plained to him that she had been
afraid of the banks since 1914 and
had saved this money during this
time and to safeguard it she had not
been away from home in ten years.
Mr. Masters said he told her the
money had heen a curse to her and
that he took it to the bank where
it would be a help to many people.

RUM-DOWN
Cardui Starts Missouri
Lady On Road To
Health Again.
Mra. T. G. Harris, of
Clarksburg, Mo., writes:
"For two years, I was
In very poor health, almost
past going, so weak and
run-down. I tried to make
the most of what little
strength I had left, but
I could find nothing to
6tart me on the 'road to
health again until, one day,
I decided to try Cardui.
“I took Cardui for sev-
eral months and was very
much gratified with the
results. I began to do my
own work again. My color,
which had been pale and
nallow, became natural.
My complexion cleared up.
Cardui was just the tonic,
I needed.”
Take Cardui If you are
run-down. It should do
vou good. At all druggists.
