The llouninn oil Company brought
in its No. 1 well in the ('ole field, in
Duvni County, a short distance west <(f
Hebbronville. This well came in last
Haturday waking l.OOtt barrels of oil
daily. It i* in, block 14. section 10, Be-
Mivides ran'h and the Company calls
It Benavides No. 1.

known as the K. & S.. and of which
he is the president and general man-
ager and one of the most active oil
men in the field.

wells he has contracted to drill on
