Much interest has been shown
by the Hume demonstration clubs
of Sutton county in the Kitchen
Improvement Contest. Last week
the Judges oounted up the scores
and decided that Mr*. D.Q. Adams
bad made the greatest improve-
ment during the contest. She
was accounted winner of the first
prik). Mrs. Otto Thiers won
second prist', Mrs. Jeff Chapman,
third; and Mrs. Mayeia Brown,
fourth.
The first prise consists of a
Congoleum Rug donated by the
Congideum Co., of Dallas and a
Pyrex dish donated by the E. Ft
Vandet Stucken-Trainer Co. lhe

Kitchen contests are usually
begun the first of February but
the women of Suttou county are
anxious to begin earlier in order
that more time may be given to
it Hence, plans huve been made
to begin the scoring the fir*t part
of June. Two of the judges have
already beeo chosen and aa soon
as the Cedar Hill Home Demon
stration Club selects a judge the
preliminary scoring will begun.
Any woman of the county may
enter the contest. Membership
in a home demonstration club is
not necessary to make one eligible
