The place where carbon does real harm to a motor is in the
vulva seats, on the valve stems and under the piston rings,

on those parts. Carbon will not stick, tho valves are kept
pr^pirly seated and the result is good compression. This means
more power and more miles per galloo.

When you Invest In an engine you
have a right to expect many years at
satisfactory service. But It all depends
on how the engine is built.
The“Z’’Engine ts world famous. It
lias a reputation for dependability, not
by mere chance, but because it is built
in use for over twenty-five years.
The "l" Engine has fewer parts
subject to wear, and those parts art
carefully made, are drop forged and
specially heat treated. The connecting
rod, for instance, is a drop forging in-
stead of an ordinary malleable. Very
finest quality, even in the smallest
parts, Is the outstanding reason for
“Z- tong life and dependability, aa
oveV 400,000 users will tell you.
Yet the prices are unusually low
because large production has roducod
manufacturing costs to a minimum.
