Our assurance is that Highway
No. 34 from the Hunt county line
this side of Wolfe City via Ladonia
to Honey Grove will be hardsurfaced
with concrete, with State and Fed-
eral aid if possible. Then the Pecan
Gap road will be completed with a
coat of gravel to the Delta county
line. Other roads that would be grav-
eled are the one leading to Hail and
another to the Hunt county line on
the south.
The committee from Ladonia to
look after the town and communities
interest is composed of Mack Erwin
™nd A. E. Sweeney.—
The bond issue as outlined by the
various committees which was pub-
lished in last week’s News will cover
every community with gbod Toads
and will give a splendid outlet to
the principal towns in Fannin coun-
ty. Many people in this section are
highly in favjv rf the bond issue
seating that it is exactly what is
needed in order that a system of
good roads may be realized. While
on the other hand there are those
who are opposed to same. However
this will be settled at the election.
To say the least we need a better
system of roads, and above all a con-
crete road from Wolfe City to Honey
klrove.
