The growing enrollment of
Cooper High School has ne-
cessitated employment of an-
other instructor the coming
year. The board of educa-
tion met Tuesday night and
employed Thomas Wilson to
fill the place and that of loot-
ball coach. Thomas is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Wilson
of this place, a graduate of
Cooper High and for the past
4 years has been a student
fin Centenary College where
he receivd his degree this
year. He was a member of
the fast and unbeatable foot-
ball team of Centenary and
will bring to Cooper plenty
of knowledge to make Coop-
er a team to be reckoned with
another year. Athletes en-
rolling in Cooper High this
year will have a coach well-
trained in football.

has resided here ever since. The
last 6 years he has been on the
Perry Hamilton farm 2 miles
west of Klondike.
Mr. Chumbley is busy in his
