MISS BELINDA DIANE SANDERS
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Sanders of Lake Creek ann-
ounce the engagement of their daughter, Belinda
Diane, to Donnice Ray Stegall, son of Mr. and Mrs.
G. O Stegall of Cooper.

Cooper.
Brownie Bounce Held Dec. 7th
A Brownie Bounce was held
December 7 with 235 Brownies
front the Lantar County and
Cooper neighborhoods partici-
pating in the event.
Mrs. Frank Wood of Paris,
served as director and was in
charge of registration and
assignments.
Three units were formed
according to grade levels with
each unit having four station
leaders to direct folk dancing,
singing games, quiet games,
knit tying, stringing pop-corn,
hiking, and active games. A
"Round Robin" plan was used
with group leaders moving their
group from one station to
another with an laternation for
active and quiet activities.
The "Big Brown Owl” for the
third graders was Mrs. Don
(Jeanie) Kourakos of Paris.
Mrs. Anna Fields served as one
of the station leaders.
Brownies front troop 96
attending were: Karen Bean,
Kim Beeler, Denise Caulcy,
Misty Dunavin, Gwen Edwards,
Michelle Fields, Kim Gammon,
Arlene Hearn, Cynthia Ivey,
Kim Irvin, Cynthia Lynch, Lyn
Malone, Toni Moses, Cassandra
Neal, Toni Newton and Kim
Stevens.
Other adults attending from
Cooper were Mrs. Ann Caulev
and Mrs. Katy Malone.
Roger Dale and Douglas Lee
Riley, Sulphur Springs, spent
the weekend with their grand-
mother, Mrs. Avis Mullens,
and were luncheon guests Sat-

Has Christmas
Dinner Saturday
Members of the Junior Atfla
tus Club, their husbands and
guest were entertained Satur-
day evening. December 7, with
an "Old Fashion" Christmas
dinner at the Delta County Civic
Center.
Following the three course
buffet dinner, Mrs. Charles
Wright, guest, related a Christ-
mas story. The evening con-
cluded with the group singing
carols.
A Christmas red wassal bowl
surrounded by fresh cedar
branches graced the hors d’-
oeuvre table and set the theme
for the dining area decorations.
Small evergreen trees, strung
with ropes of popcorn, patch-
work covered packages and
candy canes centered the five
eight plate tables. Runners of
greenery, pine cones and ruby
votives complimented the table
decor.
Hostesses for the evening
were Mrs. Bob Carrington, Mrs.
Ronnie Sansing and O’Conna
Mora. Entertainment was ar-
ranged by Mrs. Jerry Holcomb,
Mrs. Joe Bur^^ji and Mis. Ted
Carrington.
Members brought gifts for

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Carring-
ton have returned to Dallas after
nineteen months stay in Tiepie,
Taiwan where he was employed
by Tl. Carrington, his wife,
Susan, and sons, Brad, Chad
and Jason spent the weekend
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Truett Carrington, and his
brothers, Bob and Ted Carring-
ton and families.
Kim Massey, Plano, returned
home Sunday with her mother,
Jan Massey, after spending the
week with her grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Simon Moss.
