Mrs. J. c. Lancaster.
Charlie Latham, Houston,
spent the weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. John Moss.
Visiting Mrs. Addie Lancastei
and Mrs. Ola Yokem Sunday
were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Mc-
Brayer, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lan-
caster
Mrs Geneva Beckham and
children of Campbell; Mr. and
Mrs Earl George and sons ol
Yantis, spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Tom George.
Stew and Bazaar
The ladies of the Ben Frank-
lin Methodist Church will serve
stew, pie and coffee at the
Community Center on Thursday
night, October 15, begining at
six o’clock. Tickets for the meal
will be $1.00 for adults and 50?
for children.
Handmade articles will also
be on sale. The proceeds will be
used to pay for the recently in-
stalled restroom in t h e church
building.
Everyone is invited to partici-
pate in the project.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McKinney
left Monday afternoon for Saint
Louis, Missouri, where they will
attend the World Series.
Mrs. K O. Deweese has been
dismissed from a Paris hospital
and has returned to her home
in Cooper.
Attend Church Sunday
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Adair spent
last Sunday in Garland with
Mr. & Mrs. John Ed Adair and
family and attended morning
services at the First Baptist
Church in Garland when John
Ed Adair was installed as a
deacon of the church. Other
guests in the Adair home were
Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Adair and
family.
