Spencer, and Rev. M. V Davis,
associate pastor of Western
Hills. Interment was made in
Wolfforth Cemetery under the
direction of Franklin-Bartley
Funeral Home of Lubbock.

in the First United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Bart
Smith, pastor, officiating. In-
terment was made in Oak Lawn
Cemetery by Delta Funeral

Mr. Foster died at 12:00
noon Wednesday, October 17,
in the Veteran’s Hospital at
Bonham.
He was born February 23,1920
in Delta County, the son of
Luther Emmett and Cora
(Wester) Foster. He married
the former Nell Wanderaas in
Santa Monica, Calif., in March
1945. A navy veteran of World
War II and a former oil field

Curtis Raymond (Cap) Hooten
67 years of age, died at 10:05
a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hos-
pital in Paris. His home was
at Klondike, Route One.
Mr. Hooten was born January
16, 1906 in Delta County, the
son of Tom and Bertha (Wages)
Hooten cuiu had lived here alt
of his life. He married the
former Hester McGee at Klon-
dike, January 19, 1923. He had
farmed, driven a school bus,
and worked for the county.
Funeral services were held
Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock
at the Klondike Baptist Church
with the Rev. O. E. Short of-
ficiating. Interment was made
in the New Klondike Cemetery
under the direction of Delta
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Charles
Ingram, Roy Lee Moore, D. A.
Bigony, Everett Jones, Danny
Hooten and Dick Hooten.
Mr. Hooten is survived by
his wife, Mis. Hester Hooten
of Klondike; one son, Shirley
