the United Mine Workers of America
and a counter denial by Ranger Cap-

A special rate of 80 per cent of the
class A rates on orchard heaters ship-
ped from San Antonio and Houston
to the orchard section of Southwest
Texas has been ordered by the slate
railroad commission. The commission
also ordered that Fort Worth, Dallas,
Sherman and Denison be considered ln
direct line of transit on cotton seed
and other oils shipped over the Frisco
lines.
Within the nexl few weeks the cit-
rus fruit crop will begin to move from
the lower Rio Grande Valley In com-
mercial quantities. The value of the
oranges, lemons and grapefruit ex-
pected to be shipped Is estimated
roughly at approximately $500,000. At
least 125 cars will be marketed this
season, although some figures plaice,
the’ probable amount at nearly 200
cars. Ah citrus fruit is packed about
100 boxes to the car, it will, he seen
that the crop of 1922 will run between
12$,oot) and 200,000 boxes.
