HONORS IP SAFETY
HOUSTON, Feb. 19.—For
the second consecutive year a
Southwestern rail carrier has
'won top honors in the nation-
al safety standing of Ameri-
can railroads and with the
lowest casualty ratio in its his-
tory.
Southern Pacific Lines,
whose Texas and Louisiana
headquarters are in Houston,
-has received advice from the
safety section of the Associa-
tion ©f American Railroads in
Washington that it has won
first place in safety among
Group B railroads for 1946.
In this group are lines work-
ing more than 20,000,000 and
less than *50,000,000 man-
hours for the year.

sumption of the Blessed Vir-
gin Church in Praha by the
Rev. Alfonse Raska. He re-
