fifth meeting on March 24 at 11
a m.
Mrs. Luckenbaih assisted the
members Ih making a salad with
peaches and cottage cheese. Ntlie

4-H Boys Meet
The Warda 4-H club members
held their meeting on March 24 at
11 a. m.
The meeting was Opened with
the 4-H pledge. After they recited
the pledge. Jim Reese, the county
ngent, explained to tile boys how
to kill <-iit ants. He also told them
liow (o raise corn and hogs. Each
member received a hook about
corn.

a position with Mathisan
Chemical Co. of Houston. Re-
cently, while on duty, he suf-
fered severe pains in his back.
Ultimate result was that he
spent ten days in a Weimar
hospital. Two days later, after
being dismissed from the hos-
pital, additional pains develop-
ed. A Schulenburg physician
diagnosed the new trouble as
appendicitis. He therefore un-
derwent an appendectomy.
Tuesday afternoon he was re-
ported to be convalescing nice-
