D. II. Koopmann and Clin-
ton von Minden were honor-
ed by the present members of
the Church Council of St.
Paul’s Lutheran church, at a
Pot-Luck dinner Wednesday
night.
Koopmann and von Minden
each had served six or more
years on the church board and
were not eligible for re-elec-
tion at the annual meeting of
the congregation in January.
The constitution limits any
one individual to not more
than two consecutive terms of
three years each. Both men
served during the building
development years of the
church and served well.
Other members of the Coun-
cil and their families served
as hosts to the retiring men
and their families.

Mrs. Marcus Kncip discussed the
main points which should be con-
sidered lu selecting and matching
balanced and unbalanced stripes
and plaids. She told of short cuts
in sewing through the correct use
of scissors, pins, pin cushions and
tape measure. She also showed
how lo alter u pattern In remov-
ing darts at point* where they
are not needed and placing them at
places where they are ineeded.
Tlte members discussed various
ways in which funds could be
raised for tin dull. This was left
for further discussion at the next
meeting.
Refreshments were served and
enjoyed after the meeting.
The next meeting will lie held on
March 19 at the home of Mrs.
Henry Elchler.
