Mrs. J. C. Baker of Hous-
ton, her sister-in-law, Mrs. J.
D. Crabb of Lane City, and
Mrs. Jim Bennett of Rich-
mond visited in the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Thuesen
last weekend.

tained the guests. The games
were won by Mrs. Milton Al-
bers, Mrs. O. A. Kreuger and

in the refreshments served. A
plate lunch, consisting of dain-
ty chicken salad and pimento
cheese tea sandwiches, potato
chips and pickles, white cake
squares centered with pink
candy flowerettes, and pink
punch, was served to the
guests.
The gift of the hostesses was
two salad plates and two
sherberts of Miss Frenzel’s
chosen crystal. The wedding
will he an event of August 30,
and Mrs. Zimmermann will be
a member of the houseparty.

proximately 150 guests.
Miss Treybig and Pfc. Kli-
mek will be married on Aug-
ust 30, at the St. John’s Catho-
lic church, Fayetteville.
Karen Kallus, daughter of

lus, returned home Friday
from Houston after visiting a
week with Mr. and Mrs. Hen-
ry Schurig. While there she
also spent some time with
Bobette Kelly and her par-
ents.
