tered with an arrangement of
pink carnations, lace fern and
pink tapers.

over the Cardinals.
Glaiser permitted only two
hits and fanned 12 over the
five-inning route.
The Tribe used one of the

Plumlee in scoring the solo
run, which was unearned. It
came in the fourth when Larry
Bartosh, who was on via an
infield error and had advanc-
ed on a fielder’s choice and
passed ball, scored on Michael
Winn’s one-bagger.
Loop leading Swiss Alp got
a 4-1 decision over the Giants
in the afterpiece, which also
developed into a nifty hill
battle. Dan Cernoeek of the
Swiss Alpers doled out only
three bingles, while the vic-
