Mr. Nappy Mitchel and Miss Irene
Douglas of Bonham drove over to
Durant a few days ago and were
married. They visited Mr. Mitchel’s

they visited his sister of Carson and
Mrs. Bill Welch, Sunday. Their many
friends wish them much success

Well I guess it isn’t news to any-
one but we are having some foggy
weather at present. We are not hop-
ing for frost yet as there is quite a
lot of late feed1 in this community.
Aunt Sarah Suddertih is still pretty
poorly.
Mrs. T. J. Todd is reported poorly
at present.
Cotton picking is about over in
this neighborhood.
Mr. Ralph Harris and family of
Dodd City have moved in the house
vacated1 by Mr. Floyd Pope and
family.
Ralph Sudderth has returned from
a few days visit in Western Texas.
We were sorry to learn of the
serious illness of Mr. Lee Dement
in a Wichita Falls hospital. Mr.
Dement has many friends here.
Aunt Julia Sudderth and grand-
children Jack and Joyce Sudderth
visited Mr. J. A. Sudderth and family
near Gober a few days this week.
School is progressing nicely at this
place with Miss Juanita Spencer and
Mrs. Brooks Hasty as teachers.
Mrs. Vernon White has taken up
her work as teacher in the Corinth
school.
Mrs. H. A. Todd visited her cousin
Mrs. Geo. Williams of Leonard over
the week end.
One of our nearby neighbors, Mr.
John Ferguson had the misfortune
•of losing a good Chevrolet car a few
nights ago, someone stealing it.
Neil Berry and H. A. Todd were
Whitewright visitors one day this
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Taylor visited
Mrs. M. E. and Miss Joan Williams
Sunday.
Miss Fay Sudderth is in Western
Texas for a few days visit.
Mrs. Hayden of Dallas is visiting
in the home of Mr. J. Lee Tarpley and
iflamily, Mrs. Hayden is a sister of Mr,
Tarpley and has many friends in this
community.
^r. Otto Gray was a Bonham
visitor one day this week.
