(Texas) HERALD, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3,1936
HIGH PRAIRIE
Let us take heart again. Let us
go on. Whatever disaster, grief or
despair walked, with us through the
old year that is gone. Let us forget
that it ever was there. Let us forget
that it walked by our side. The year
is before us, a pathway untrod. There
will be open roads sunny and wide.
There will be happy days. There will
he God'. Let us take heart again.
Surely we can. Let us build steps on
the errors we made. Let us climb up
to the sunlight again. Out of the
darkened wells; out of the shade.
Let us remember no evil can last.
Courage will come again certain as
dawn. The new year is here and the
old year is passed. Let us take heart
again. Let us go on.

Gome again, Mr. Howell, we enjoyed
your visit so much.
no one knows for certain, that’s
what we are trying to find out.
No one maybe, is more interested
in the H. D. clubs than the writer. I
read the good reports from all the
clubs, they represent all portions of
the county, and the reporters write
up the proceedings in a readable
style. Our acquaintance extends
pretty well over the county and I
read the reports because I am really
interested in the various projects
fostered by the clubs and sheer
curiosity leads me to study the per-
sonnel of each community just to see
how many nam'es I have on my mem-
ory string and believe it if you can.
I know nearly all of them (menfolks)
but I started out to name some things
that we don’t know. Recently the
clubs have been much concerned
about health diets. The speaker said
we should drink some milk and eat
a lot of greens and also should eat
some proteins. That word proteins is
the thing we don’t know. We are
farmers out here and we don’t know
if its onions or garlic. The other day
I asked a neighbor what it was and
she said well, meat scraps will do.
Last week I told a merchant over in
Bonham that I wanted some addition-
al milk producing feed for my cow.
He said she needed proteins; that’s
just it you see, I don’t know yet if
she needs meat scraps or garlic.
A farmer has a terrible time with this
menu or bill of fare for himself and
milk cow, figuring out which is which.
In reading the reports today I noted
that we are to eat plenty of vitamins,
that’s another thing that we are not
sure about. It is suggested that the in flowers, they gave information

Well, what’s what? We’ll see.
I would say that the beautiful snow
is peppering down as I . write this
story " but everybody knows that
snow is beautiful, they also know
that it peppers and they also know
that it comes down so I will skip these
words that everybody knows.
I am thinking about one of two

"DEFORE you take any prepara-

for the relief of headaches; or the
pains of rheumatism, neuritis or

with Genuine Bayer Aspirin.
We say this because, before the
discovery of Bayer Aspirin, most
so-called “pain” remedies were ad-
vised against by physicians as being
bad for the stomach; or, often, for
the heart. And the discovery of
Bayer Aspirin largely changed
medical practice.
Countless thousands of people
who have taken Bayer Aspirin year
in and out without ill effect, have
proved that the medical findings
about its safety were correct.
Remember this. Genuine Bayer

to take regularly.
You can get real Bayer Aspirin at

asking for it by the name “aspirin”
alone, but always saying BAYER

Nerve Strain brings on Headache.
Nervous people often suffer from Indigestion.
There may be absolutely nothing wrong with the
organs of digestion, but the Nerves are not on the
job to make the organs do their work properly.
