An Open Letter
To The People of Brady
We are not proposing to take away your freedom. But we do ask you
to consider our freedom; Brady is our town; Brady is our county seat;
Brady is our trade center. We ask you to consider our children; our grand-
children; your children and your grandchildren; and we urge you to keep
a clean town—one in which our children are not face to face with alcohol.
True it is, I have no vote, for I live outside the city of Brady; but 1
am a life-time resident of this county and what is done in this election will
affect the entire county.
I trust that each of you will prayerfully and thoughtfully cast your
vote against and leave McCulloch County as it is.

That The World May Know
We must not, we cannot live for ourselves.
For the sake of the hundreds of children who come to Brady to
attend school,
For the fine young people who contest in our athletic programs,
For the sake of the hundreds of youth attending our Sunday
schools,
For the fine teachers who watch our youth nine months of the
year,
For the sake of our fine Sunday school teachers who seek to lead
our youth to Christ,
For the sake of my own and my neighbors’ children,
For the sake of CHRIST WHO DIED FOR US,
We will vote against the sale of liquor in Brady
We ask every God fearing, law abiding citizen to join us.
