nounce the candidacy of Miss Minerva
Hardeman for the office of County
Clerk of San Patricio County, subject
to the decision of voters in the primary
of July, 1932. Four years’ experience
as deputy County Clerk.
The United Gas System, which is
laying new gas pipes throughout the
city of Taft is progressing nicely with
the work. The gas company has a
large crew at work digging ditches and
laying the new pipe. The pipe is being
welded at every joint, making it im-
possible for a leak to occur.

onstrated by the Boy Scouts of Aran-
sas Pass when they co-operated with
the local officers in patrolling the

At the recent session of the West
Texas conference which convened at
Austin, we were assigned to a new
field of labor, that of Liberty Hill.
During our three years’ stay in Ar-
ansas Pass we have loved the people,
rejoicing in their prosperity and pro-
gressiveness and their loyal friendship
will always be remembered. We be-
lieve in the future of Aransas Pass
and predict that in the near future
a rapid growth and improvement. To
our Methodist church and its consti-
tuency -we want to thank you for all
the many kindnesses shown us during
our stay with you and pray that God’s
richest blessings may rest upon you

of the week from Temple, Tex., where
he visited Mirs. Barry, who is in a
sanitarium receiving treaitments foir
injuries received in an auto wreck.
Mr. Barry says she is getting along
